How My Sweet Baby Got Started

I was inspired to make  nursing covers in 2005 when I saw someone using a similar product and thought it was a great idea. However, like many other baby "accessories", they were made to look "babyish" with cheesy cartoon fabric and no mama style (even though it's the mommy that is wearing it). My creative mind started to go and I began to experiment with designer fabrics, fun accessories and my own unique patterns. When out in public I began to receive lots of compliments and was often stopped by people asking where I bought my cover. My friends and family wanted to buy them for themselves and as gifts. With such encouraging feedback, I started "My Sweet Baby" to share my love of finding a more fashionable way of doing things. As a busy mother of three little ones, I understand what it's like to multi-task. Nursing was important to me and often had to be done on  the run or  out in public while watching the other ones play.  I learned what I liked/ didn't like and what worked/didn't work in a nursing cover. in the life of a very busy mommy.  I put the best of what learned into the design My Sweet Baby nursing covers -  As parents, we learn to edit and delete what works and to what doesn't. I hope you enjoy your cover as much as I enjoy designing them!
